Roman curtains
The origin of the Roman Curtain dates back to the 80's, when used in the Roman Empire, part of the famous Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheater). Archaeological excavations have proved that the Romans used progressive technologies for those times, in organizing performances. Folding "Rolstavni" or "Rolls" made of cloth were considered luxurious equipment provided for the convenience of the spectators of this amphitheater. This type of curtains is one of the simplest and oldest types of drapery windows. The combination of curtains with rolls, with a foldable fabric surface, which can be raised or lowered by means of a mechanism. Like any curtain, their appearance and structure can vary infinitely, although they are considered to be one of the most conservative and practical. They are easy to combine with curtains of other styles.
